Medical Practitioner Solutions, LLC (MPS) took root in 2006 when a nurse practitioner (NP) voiced dissatisfaction with their employment situation and approached MPS about assisting them with establishing their own long term care (LTC) medical practice. Already possessing the knowledge, skills and systems required for a nurse practitioner to begin an independent practice, we guided the NP in:

• establishing a corporate entity,
• obtaining provider numbers, including Medicare,
• understanding LTC documentation and coding, and
• billing for medically necessary services.

Our entrepreneurial NP was highly motivated and soon became very busy! This resulted in the NP referring two NP colleagues to MPS, who in turn developed their own independent LTC medical practices with our assistance.
